We know, we know. We claim to be purveyors of vintage timepieces and yet here we are, offering another modern watch… it’s for good reason.
Habring2 is doing what no other modern watch brand is. Creating limited runs of hand-assembled movements with in-house complications, Habring is bringing back the tradition of small, family-run watch manufacturing.
Richard Habring, a watchmaker, engineer and one half of the husband-and-wife team, is the genius behind the IWC dopplechrono rattrapante complication, and continues to push the envelope of modern watch making today. Every watch that leaves the Austrian manufacture is totally customized to spec by the client, making each wonderfully crafted timepiece completely unique. What’s more, the Habrings routinely re-cast the mold, creating unique features and customizations seen no where else in modern horology.
Habring timepieces rarely surface on the secondary market and when this one crossed our path, we just had to take it into our inventory. With an incredible dial - at times appearing copper and at others silky rose gold – and a totally unique power reserve indicator, this piece is as beautiful as it is horologically interesting.
We could go on and on, but our friends over at Worn & Wound have already given this exact watch it’s all-too-deserved moment in the sun. Check out their thorough review of this amazing timepiece, HERE.
