Panerai Luminor Marina 40mm Automatic

Panerai Luminor Marina 40mm Automatic

For us elitist vintage snobs, modern Panerai can be a touchy subject. They tend to either be a home-run, or, well...the exact opposite. This little beauty (there's a clever play on words there), is very much the former.

With beautifully clean lines, perfect proportions, an automatic winding Calibre OP III movement, and the most classic of Luminor dial designs, this is everything a Panerai should be.  Wearing well on both the included bracelet or leather strap, this Panerai slides in under the radar not only as an undersized piece, but as an under-appreciated one.  If you're anything like us, you might not care for the oversized and excessive models the brand has been made famous for, but there is no denying the elegance and beauty of the iconic dial design - not to mention that crown guard!  It has been many years of secret admiration, but we have finally found a model that we would absolutely wear on the regular!

This particular example is a single owner piece that dates from 2008, the last year of production of this model. It  comes complete with its full kit: Inner and outer boxes, paperwork, and two genuine Panerai straps. If you are looking for a large, elegant modern timepiece with classic dive watch styling, look no further!

Steel case is approximately 40mm (excluding the crown). Panerai Reference PAM00050. Circa 2008.

Overall condition: Case is in very good condition over all, showing only light surface wear from regular careful use. Dial and hands are as new. Case back shows light wear and is stamped J418/700.

Includes genuine Panerai steel bracelet & leather strap, both showing normal signs of wear from age and use, and both complete with signed clasps. Also includes original inner and outer boxes, extra links, tools, protective cloths, books and original paperwork.
