Tudor Submariner Snowflake No-Date

Tudor Submariner Snowflake No-Date

Why We Love It

Some collectors seek out watches are untouched, as though were hidden away in a behind a wall the afternoon they were assembled and forgotten about. Other collectors, want to see the history of their watches on their watches. They want patina

This Tudor 'Snowflake" Submariner 'No-Date' is intended for the latter. With its richly aged lume, stippled dial and faded ghost bezel, this Reference 7016/0 has all of the history and character of a watch that was worn, loved, roughed up, and kept coming back for more.

In the face of collector craze, "NOS" this and "auction result" that, its easy to lose sight of the fact that tool watches are meant to be worn and used. Provided they were properly cared for, vintage Submariners such as this one have lived storied lives all their own- they've been through more than you are likely to ever throw at it.

This Tudor Sub hides of nothing, and wears its character and scars like a badge of honor and awaits the next custodian who will wear it with pride!

The Story

Tudor has been hitting it out of the park these past few years with their modern line. One release after another, they just keep killing it. This is never more true than with the release of the Black Bay 58 in 2018. With the continued focus on vintage aesthetics in their new timepieces, appreciation for their vintage models continues to surge as well.

Particularly desirable amongst the vintage offerings is their Submariner line, which ran alongside their siblings - the iconic Rolex Submariner.  Tudor Subs feature the same cases, crowns, and build quality as their "Big Brother" Rolex models, but were fitted without the in-house movements that gave Rolex their price tag.
