In keeping with our promise, we occasionally offer modern timepieces that match our personal taste preferences. In other words, these timepieces must combine elements of style and manufacturing quality that lend themselves to the same timeless qualities we seek in our vintage collection.
It is hard to get more timeless than Blancpain.
The esteemed Swiss Manufacture started way back in 1735, and is known for crafting some of the most elegant pocket and wristwatches in history - along with the prototypical modern diver's watch, the legendary Fifty Fathoms. Today, Blancpain exists as part of the Swatch Group, and many of their innovative case and movement designs have gone on to inspire the rest of the industry.
This particular piece, a steel-cased Léman Triple Date Moonphase (Reference W20106X8), combines features desirable to any horological enthusiast, whether their inclination is towards vintage or modern. Pairing a sensible case diameter (38mm) with a high grade self-winding movement, and an elegant dial design, the Léman collection is sufficiently traditional and pleasingly contemporary all at once. And with complete calendar functionality and a subsidiary seconds/moon phase display at 6:00, it has everything you'd want and nothing you wouldn't.
With a full factory service completed just a few months ago, it is ready to go on the wrist of its next owner. This truly is a lovely modern piece, a timeless choice in every sense.
