We get our rocks off on vintage pieces every day, watches that have a distinct character, watches that have lived lives in the hands of many owners, surviving the decades to reach us here and now. Many times, while these watches bear the scars of their adventures, we know little more about them or where they came from.
Charming as this mystery can be, we get a special thrill when we get our hands on pieces that have lived privileged lives in the care of the original owner. Sometimes it's hard to convince them to let go of the watch that kept them company for years, but in the end, every person enthusiastic about watches wants them to be where they belong - on the wrist - and not collecting dust in a dresser drawer.
This particular Oyster Perpetual Date is just such a watch. Coming from the original owner who purchased the watch new in 2001, this piece, with its classic silver dial, was a beloved companion for many years before being sidelined by other loves. With just enough wear marks to have some charm and character, this piece is in incredible all-original condition and comes with it's complete original kit - including inner and outer Rolex boxes, warranty and information booklets, papers, Rolex card wallet and hang tags.
