When is a contemporary Blue Tudor Submariner not a Snowflake? When, it is a Lollipop, of course!
Vintage Tudor Subs may just be the single hottest sports watch on the market, with collectors scrambling to get their hands on original, unmolested examples. With increased popularity has come a rash of refurbished, modified, Frankensteined and outright fake examples, making it difficult for enthusiasts to find the genuine article.
Of particular desirability are the models with unique hands and dials, such as the reference 76100 offered here. Contemporary to the Rolex 5513, the reference 76100 Tudor Submariner was a limited production transitional model that features so called "Lollipop" hands set against a dial with triangular hour markers at 6, 9, and 12, which make them considerably less common than the standard "Mercedes Hand" versions.
With only very minimal signs of wear, this example has a fantastic light fade to its markers and hands, a blemish-free blue dial and its original bezel insert. Overall, this is a stunning timepiece with a very rare combination color, layout and hands that make it a great alternative to any of the more common Submariner models from either Tudor or Rolex. Take our word for it, you will regret missing out on this one!
